One of my favourite strategies for helping kids to engage with healthy eating, is to count their colours every day.
Each colour family represents a group of special plant chemicals that have ‘special powers’, that help to support the immune system, energy production, brain function and many other things too.
We keep this checklist on the fridge, and each child can tick off their colours every day.
